This role is with an Entertainment industry client who is looking at bringing in IT expert who can manage end-to-end and has global exposure to understand where the industry is heading towards from IT technology perspective. Job Description: - Set objectives and strategies for the IT department - Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits - Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience ; Direct and organize IT-related projects - Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage - Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology to advice management and suggest actions - Create business value through technology - Establish IT policies, strategies, and standards - Adopt technologies that are in line with a business growth and objectives - Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization. Skills : - Ability to layout an IT/Technology and Digital strategy, with a clear set of short/mid/long term initiatives - Can set budget, get it approved, and manage the budge; Change Agents - Relationship and Change management. The person should be able to get the organization excited. - Team and Partnership builder; Cross-Functional team leadership; Obsess over customer experience; Should be an evangelist; full of passion and conviction and be able to inject these into all key employees - Should be able to think & ROI; not necessarily restricted to financial metrics but the impact on key stakeholders eg. Customers, Employees, Partners etc.; - Should be able to innovate frugally without any compromise on quality; A good understanding of Martech would be an added advantage. - Experience: B2C Industry ; Preferably experienced in experiential or at least exposed to service businesses - Demonstrable skills and active hands-on experience with digital transformation in mid to large scale enterprise - Should have strategized and implemented at least 1 or 2 initiatives of Digital Business Transformation - Should be able to explain the challenges en-route and how he/she overcame them. Background in: - Product Management - Data and Analytics - Customer-facing technologies
