Chief Information Security Officer

Our client is one of the leading players in financial services space, looking to hire CISO to be based in Chennai.

Responsibilities:

- Creating and implementing information security program designed to protect enterprise communications, systems, and assets from any potential threats

- Providing guidance on cybersecurity program on strategic level

- Providing business leaders with intelligence on key cybersecurity trends

- Evaluating the IT threat landscape

- Devising policy and controls to reduce risk

- Leading auditing and compliance initiatives

- Providing the board of directors and senior executives with information like; the security risk profile of the organization, any cybersecurity improvements in motion, notable cybersecurity incidents the return on investment on past cybersecurity initiatives

- Promote a culture of strong information security, and to facilitate broad security cultural change across their organization, also act as a thought leader, continually communicating their strategy and vision

Desired Profile:

- Masters degree in computers / information security or related field

- Minimum 20 years of experience in information security and at least five years in leadership role

- Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards such as ISO, NIST, and CIS Controls

- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, and CCSP are preferred
