Role Reports to CMD Location - Mumbai Job Purpose: - The Chief Information Officer will be responsible for the overall strategic Vision, Leadership and Operational execution excellence for organization-wide IT resources & systems FOR 35000 users, 20 warehouses, 35 branches, 750 distributors, 3200 authorized dealers, 100,000 retail outlets in 2800 towns and cities across India. - The CIO will collaborate with the leadership team to establish repeatable and sustainable technology solutions which maximize short and long term business growth and results. - The CIO will manage, develop and mentor direct reports and lead a global IT team in the attainment of Organization's strategic goals and commitment towards IT excellence. Key Deliverable: 1. Provide vision, direction and road map for IT function in the organization. 2. Align IT-Business to follow institutionalized practices. 3. Financial Planning for the IT function based on the Long Term IT Plan to enable business growth and results. 4. Create and manage Enterprise Architecture Blueprint - Long Term technical implementation plan with the financial impact. 5. Overall IT Governance Institutionalization - Outsourced partners, assets management, maintenance contracts, dashboards, processes, policies, people, performance, steering committees, etc. 6. Provide Leadership in team building, mentoring and career development of IT Team. 7. Manage Projects / Operations based on Scorecard measurement parameter. 8. Prepare IT AOP and Budget with business sponsorship and provide procurement assistance. 9. Oversee IT Governance and Program Management for overall IT Service Delivery. 10. Work closely with Business, Operations and other functional Heads (HR, Sales, Marketing, Finance, etc.) for solutions engagement and expectation management. 11. Ensure Statutory and Regulatory compliance - Reporting for Business and IT - Dashboards and Scorecards 12. Business Targets - Launch of Products / Services, provide solutions to business through appropriate engagement. 13. Suggest cost-effective innovative solutions for customer touch points. New technologies for adoption and usability. Required Competencies: - Must possess strong Leadership & team player qualities, excellent interpersonal skills and networking skills. - Sound judgment and understanding of Telecom business practices. - Personal authority and integrity with proven ability to establish relationships and exert influence at the Organizational level. - Independence, robust ethics and resilience. External: - Vendor Partners and OEMs - Competition Study on Innovation & latest technology Internal: - Coordinates with different functions and Management to provide guidance and support on matters related to IT & Technology initiatives. - Business Teams - Commercial Team - Legal Team Experience: - 18 - 23 years of relevant experience in Application Development, IT Infrastructure Management, ERP Implementation & Mobility. Desired Professional Experience: - Managing Retail network across India-, Debit, Credit, Gift, Women and other special Card personalization, etc will be preferred. - Should have implemented Azure Cloud, Enterprise Mobility, MS Navision, Location Based Services, AI / RPA Process, Data warehouse, BI Tools, VMS, PS, Digital Enterprise Platform for Services etc Educational Qualification: - BE / B.Tech. / MS / M.Tech. in Computers or Equivalent.
