Chief Information Officer - Fund

Job Responsibilities:

- Devise and execute investment strategies, risk management, and governance frameworks/SOPs to ensure optimal performance

- Offer hands- on leadership across the investment lifecycle, from deal origination to exit, aiming to annually invest a substantial capital in high- quality opportunities

- Cultivate a robust pipeline of proprietary investment prospects by actively sourcing and identifying potential deals

- Conduct thorough assessments of business opportunities, establish compelling investment cases, and adeptly negotiate terms for potential investments

- Cultivate strong relationships with entrepreneurs, venture capital funds, the Investment Committee (IC), Advisory Board members, and key industry stakeholders

- Attain a comprehensive understanding of emerging companies or industry segments of interest.

- Evaluate market opportunities, competition, products, sales and growth, operations, financials, management strength, equity needs, and capital structure

- Provide support to portfolio companies, attending board meetings and monitoring performance to ensure strategic objectives and returns are achieved

Qualifications:

- Educational Qualification: Engineer / MBA / CA

- Preferred experience in Tech / Deep Tech- related industries, consulting, or investment sectors

- Approximately 15 years of cumulative experience, including a substantial tenure at a successful venture capital firm or a significant corporation's venture capital group. In- depth comprehension of early and growth- stage venture capital in India

- Demonstrated expertise from sourcing to exiting investments, encompassing deal analysis, due diligence, document review and negotiation, serving as the deal interface, and driving deals to completion

- Highly developed analytical skills, capable of defining issues, identifying trends, analyzing data, proposing alternative solutions, projecting consequences, drawing valid conclusions, suggesting sound recommendations, structuring win- win offers, and implementing approved solutions

- Strong attention to detail and a firm commitment to ethical practices

- Proficient in networking, communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, and agile decision- making
