Main purpose of the Job:

- To Lead IT function and implement software design, development and implementation having Strategic expertise in directing business efforts towards digital transformation.

Job responsibilities:

Strategic Responsibilities:

- Establish and direct the strategic and tactical goals, policies, and procedures for the information technology department.

- Map digital capabilities to strategic priorities. Participates in aligning business priorities with technology solutions.

- Communicates with other executive members to make sure all parts of the company use technology in the best ways possible.

- Provide technological guidance within the organization.

- Develop and implement a customer service platform to serve the organization in every aspect.

- Establish and ensure SLAs are met for Data Center and IT solution Vendors.

- Propose hardware/software solutions to accomplish the company's business objectives.

- Create a cost-benefit analysis as well as supporting a detailed definition of data requirements and departmental workflows. Provides the necessary data and technical information to Finance for creating ROI and cost-benefit analysis.

- Measure new efficiencies and ROI. Replacing manual processes with technology drives both cost savings and revenue generation. Works with department heads to analyse and propose automation/software driven processes to improve efficiency & accuracy.

- Oversees the development and testing of new programs developed or adopted specifically for the company.

- Seek out vendors that may have something of value to offer to the company.

- Coaches members of the IT teams, particularly IT leaders, so everyone stays on the same page across the company.

Administrative Responsibilities:


- Set objectives and strategies for the IT department.

- Serve as the executive sponsor for digital process innovation. Other executives might not be measured on new functionality or economies of scale that digital capabilities enable.

- Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.

- Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience.

- Create and enforce IT governance, controls, change management, and SOPs across the group for all IT and software-related activities.

- Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization.

- Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance.

- Direct and organize IT-related projects.

- Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain a competitive advantage.

- Analyze the costs, value, and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.

- Review vendor proposals and make decisions based on things such as price, what they offer, and how the vendor product may fit into the organization.

- Supervise information system and communications network. Develop ways to attract and retain top talent.

Information Security:

- Ensures the company's data remains secure by keeping up to date on the latest cyber security threats and finds ways to guard against them on an organization-wide scale.

- Assess and anticipate technology projects and recommend appropriate action and resources.

Skills:

- Proficient / Hands on experience in Content development and creative writing.

- Efficient in managing multiple clients.

- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

- Proficient in Content Management Software.

- Demonstrated maturity in stakeholder management.

- Effective digital communication skills.

- Positive market reputation and social identity enhance organizational impact, emphasizing responsibility and accountability.

Qualification (Must Have)

- Min B. Tech. / B. Sc. / CS.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Minimum of 18 years of experience in IT management roles, with at least 12 years in a senior leadership position.

- Strong understanding of Indian regulatory and compliance requirements related to IT systems and data management.

- Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing large-scale IT projects and initiatives.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills, with the ability to align IT objectives with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
