Chief Information Officer - Automobile

Leads the automobile business in planning and implementing enterprise information systems to support both distributed and centralized business operations and achieve more effective and cost beneficial IT operations

Roles and Responsibilities (Indicative)

- Drives the overall IT services for the automobile business

- Provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information and technology systems based on business needs and future requirements.

- Plans & budgets the IT requirements in consultation with business leaders and ensures spending with in the budget

- Drives continuity & value enhancement of existing systems for business sustenance

- Leads and aligns the technology team to a common technology vision and strategy, which matches business needs

- Oversees IT risk analysis and mitigation methodology

- Drives Business driven IT Strategy - Strategic Requirement Analysis

- Drives IT Policies and Security

- Coaches the team, provides support and directions, to address any bottlenecks by utilizing own domain and Technology expertise

- Manages Senior Level vendor relationships with top IT companies for development / enhancement/ customization of applications and management of Infrastructure/networks

- Ensures transparency to the business on IT costs
