Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO)


Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) - International Experience Preferred

Base location is open - Mumbai, Delhi & Bangalore

Remuneration: Top quartile of the APAC Market.

- The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. The CHRO provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders and the board of directors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - 

Culture & People Management - 

- Own and design a People Strategy based on deep understanding of organizational needs, culture, and strategic plans.

- Lead and inspire the HR team members and give functional direction ensuring a consistent and forward-thinking approach, aligned with an overall People Strategy.

- Define the people and organizational capabilities needed for growth & success and build a human capital plan that supports it

- Play a leadership role in assessing both potential and risks of new company acquisitions in US, India and internationally. Oversee people and compliance aspects of newly acquired companies.

Learning & Development - 

- Implement comprehensive development approach that links training, performance reviews, career planning, and developmental activities to required skills and competencies for both employees and hiring managers.

- Set strategy and guide the development of top-notch training programs and courses to meet the education needs of the organization and teams.

- Drive and maintain employee engagement at every level through effective motivation, coaching, training, and development.

- Lead talent review and succession planning initiatives

Talent Acquisition - 

- Drive best-in-class talent acquisition and recruiting practices to ensure the firm hire the best and brightest team members with the potential to grow. Enhance candidate sourcing and hiring efforts for key positions.

- Build credible, trusted relationships with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand their hiring needs, challenges and business objectives

- Determine workforce planning strategies, leveraging data to determine both short and long-term recruiting plans

Total Rewards & HR Analytics - 

- Lead the analysis of the talent resource plan to ensure alignment and positioning for growth

- Continually monitors compensation and benefits and other reward programs to ensure competitiveness in the market and cost efficient

- Develops and manages the HR division budget

- Develops and analyzes enterprise-wide people and other cross-functional data as needed

- Ensures all Human Resource practices, policies and programs conform with all established legal requirements.
