Chief Financial Officer/Vice President - Finance - Big Data & AI

About the company :

This is a fast-growing big data and AI company based in Singapore with a large presence in India, with clients across the globe in the banking, e-commerce, travel, and hospitality domains. They are looking for a VP of Finance/CFO to be based in India.

Responsibilities :

Strategic :

- Prepare company for various growth pathways and exit options (Work with CEO, COO and Board)

- Lead and execute fundraising strategy, build strong relationships with current and prospective investors (CEO, Board)

- Own communication and interactions with investors/Board - leverage and manage key strategic investors (CEO, Board)

- Evaluate and strategize regarding potential M&A opportunities (CEO, Board)

- Key member of Leadership Team evaluating commercial deals and business models, to drive alignment between their strategic objectives and operational reality (COO, Leadership)

Operations (work with COO) :

- Lead, direct and manage a team of 5-7 finance and accounting team members

- Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports

- Provide timely, accurate and insightful financial analysis in order to assist and enable the Leadership Team to drive growth

- Treasury management of cash flows / working capital

- Ensure compliance with legal/regulatory requirements including annual audits

Transform & digitize Finance Org (work with COO, Leadership) :

- Lead and execute (with support) the finance transformation, rolling out operating models, tools and processes to automate budgeting/ forecasting processes

- Work closely with COO and Business Planning office to enable an integrated view of key financial, operational and risk metrics

Requirements :

- 12-15 years of relevant experience in Finance with a venture backed firm, ideally within the technology sector or as an investment banker / investor

- Experience supporting or leading fundraising efforts, including managing relationships with current and future investors

- An effective communicator, both written and verbal, with excellent interpersonal/stakeholder management skills

- Forward looking, digitally savvy, track record of leading Finance transformation
