Chief Financial Officer - Startup

Job Description:

We are looking for a CFO to join who can add value to the product through their financial & managerial skills.

We are the pioneers in the regional operating system space in India with a revolutionary product and also have a unique regional marketplace for apps called - App Bazaar-

Position:

As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Financial Officer will report to the CEO and play a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private and institutional financing.

What you'll be doing: (Responsibilities):

- As a key member of the Executive Team, and reporting to the Management Team, you will play an active role in planning.

- You will be involved in decisions relating to strategic initiatives and growth models of the company.

- We are looking for someone who believes in our business and has what it takes to help take the company to the next level.

- You will spearhead all things Finance, Strategic Planning, Forecasting, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Deal Analysis, Investor Relations, and Private and Institutional Financing.

- You will provide operational support for key areas of the business, including client and partner contracts, negotiations, pricing, business planning, and the operating model.

What we're looking for:

- 10+ years of finance and accounting leadership experience in finance operations; prior experience in technology product company.

- Experience working in the startup during a period of dynamic global growth.

- Track record of successfully funded private companies.

- High level of experience and competence in financial accounting, cash management, corporate finance, systems implementations, and mergers & acquisitions.

- Experience managing the creation and development of metrics and scorecards to enable and enhance functional stewardship of managing budgets and investment in strategic and operational initiatives that drive our business forward.

- Experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues. Proven ability to implement and maintain internal control over financial reporting compliance with knowledge and understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance.
