Chief Financial Officer - Stainless Steel Manufacturer - CA

The company is a leading stainless steel producer with integrated manufacturing facilities, is ranked as the No. 1 in stainless steel flanges and is the second largest manufacturer of long products in the world. With 9,000 employees across its divisions, the company is looking for its next CFO.

Overall Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives

- Plan, organize and direct the financial management of the Company and activities of the finance department in compliance with all legal and ethical standards

- Supervise the administration of accounting, financial reporting, internal auditing, revenue collections, risk management, and treasury & investment management for the Company

- Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation and reporting to the Company

- Ensure accurate and timely recording of the Company's financial transactions as well as ensure the financial integrity of the Company

- Supervise the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements, including revenue projections

- Lead a team of qualified professionals to manage different functions in finance and accounting

- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team

- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities

- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities

Qualifications/skills:

- The candidate should have a CA qualification or equivalent business experience

- Should have at least 15 years of experience in the Manufacturing industry with at least 5 years of experience in working with companies having an integrated steel plant

- Should have a thorough knowledge of sound financial planning, fundraising, corporate governance, and compliance

- Should have experience in partnering with an executive team, and have strong written and oral communication skills.

- Should have strong leadership skills, with an entrepreneurial can-do attitude
