The Chief Financial Officer will be accountable for Fundraising, administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the Company, including developing a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve the Company's assets and report accurate financial results. &nbsp;Principal accountabilities are: Fundraising - Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts - Arrange for debt and equity financing where necessary, including maintaining banking relationships and liaising with investment bankers and potential investors Strategy &amp; Planning :&nbsp; - As a business partner partnering business in formulating the Company's future direction and strategic initiatives - Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans - Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting - Advise on long-term business and financial planning - Develop financial and tax strategies - Develop performance measures that support the Company's strategic direction Operations :&nbsp; - Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team - Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team - Manage the accounting, human resources, legal, tax, and treasury departments - Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations - Manage any third parties to which accounting or finance functions have been outsourced - Oversee the Company's transaction processing systems - Implement operational best practices - Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package - Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions Financial Information :&nbsp; - Prepare and/or oversee the issuance of financial information, including monthly and quarterly management reporting as well as the monthly board of director reporting packs - Coordinate the annual audit and ensure proper filing of all tax returns - Report and explain quarterly and annual financial results to the board of directors Risk Management :&nbsp; - Understand and mitigate key elements of the Company's risk profile - Monitor all open legal issues involving the Company, and legal issues affecting the industry - Construct and monitor reliable control systems - Maintain appropriate insurance coverage - Ensure that the Company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements - Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies - Report risk issues to the board of directors - Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations Requirements :&nbsp; - Bachelor of Accountancy or Finance with CA, CA, CPA or relevant professional qualification - Possess at least 15+ years experience in a progressively responsible financial leadership role, with at least 5 years in a CFO position - Previous experience in a private equity-backed company, ideally in a Software Services organization - Excellent leadership skills and proven ability to lead regional teams - High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation - Fundraising experience a must to have - High level of written and oral communication skills - Only candidates with CA and Fundraising, M&amp;A experience in Software firms will be considered.
