Job Role:

- Assisting in formulating the company's future direction and support strategic initiatives

- Establishing functional objectives and performance measures in line with organizational objectives.

- Developing financial strategies at an organizational level by contributing to financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction

- Participating in the corporate decision-making process as a member of the Management Team with joint responsibility for the development of long-term corporate strategies and company policies.

- Owning financial responsibilities including financial reporting, budgetary management and presentation to the Management, Shareholders Committees and to the Board of Directors

- Participate in the corporate decision-making process as a member of the Management Team with joint responsibility for the development of long-term corporate strategies and company policies.

- Heading the Finance & Accounting team with special focus on efficiency and effectiveness of Internal Controls

- Directing and overseeing the accounting books and records of the Company ensuring their maintenance in accordance with the relevant provisions, accepted international accounting standards/principles, practices and conventions

- Spearheading cost leadership and optimization efforts across all sectors of the business with the view to optimize utilization of assets

- Monitoring and review finance and treasury policies, procedures and practices in line with international accounting standards, legal requirements and good industry practice.

- Ensuring prudent management of the Company's cash flows and associated financial risk exposures in line with Board approved directives/strategies.

- Ensuring that the funds are properly safeguarded, managed effectively and employed efficiently with the view to reduce overall net financing cost and oversee value creation in fund management with minimum risk exposure.

- Coordinating responses for any change in the Company's tax applicable legislation and liaising with the relevant tax and legal advisors on any issues affecting the Company's tax position

- Supervising commercial and contractual negotiations with vendors

- Achieving cost savings for the company

- Administering Corporate Financial Reporting (CFR) such as quarterly and annual financial statement including Consolidation

- Ensuring that the most optimal investment strategy is put in place and implemented.

- Ensuring preparation of effective Operating and Capital Budgets and presentation thereof to the board of directors.

- Implementing cost control systems capable of planning, recording and reporting all capital commitments and expenditures.

- Driving business improvement initiatives such as improved enterprise cost reduction, procurement, pricing execution and other process improvements and innovations.

- Acting as the guardian of the Manual of Authorities, including the development of authority matrix, amendments, approval by the Board and monitoring its effectiveness.

- Providing leadership to all members of the finance department; fostering a culture of team spirit, co-operation and continuous self-development within the department.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- A Chartered Accountant with at least 15 years in a senior role such as Assistant CFO/ Deputy CFO

- Should have hands on experience in making investment decisions

Professional Qualifications: CA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA/CMA

- Adept at Indian Accounting Standards, International Accounting Standards (IAS)/International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) including interpretations and technical bulletins and Internal Auditing Framework COSO

- Experienced in evaluating and implementing sound Financial & Management Reporting Systems

- Good at all Treasury Financial Instruments (bonds, MMI, forwards, futures, options, swaps) including their accounting, compliance and performance measurement

- Demonstrated excellence in managing finance, accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting

- Demonstrated collaborative and flexible working style, with a strong service mentality

- Hands-on manager with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment

- Ability to maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team

- Strong commitment to developing team members
