Chief Financial Officer - Pharmaceutical

About our Client : One of the leading chain of retailers and wholesalers in pharmaceutical products with the turnover of INR 450 crore approx. Distributor of 130+ renowned Pharmaceuticals Companies of the industry.

Job Description: The CFO will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function of the business.

- He/she will lead tax & treasury; planning & business support; financial analysis; general accounting; Audit ( Internal & Statutory) and supply chain finance.

- The CFO will play a critical role as the co-pilot to the CEO/ Managing Director in providing financial and business leadership and helping to develop and drive the strategy for continued growth and innovation in the business.

- As a key member of the Leadership team, contribute to the formulation of business strategies, objectives and financial plans providing information, analysis, counsel and recommendations to achieve business objectives.

- Lead the Business Analysis, Financial Control and Regulatory & Compliance requirements. Support the business in strategic and operations analysis, financial reporting, internal control and other financial services for the business.

- Stakeholders Management both internal and external, Banking & Financial Institutions Relationship for funding requirements of the company.

- To manage the day to day operations as well as partner with the MD to see through all of the above initiatives. Specifically, the CFO will lead Finance team and also the IT and Logistics teams to manage and constantly improve daily operations;

- Take initiative to find ways to improve productivity and efficiency, save/manage costs, generate critical MIS for meaningful Business Reviews, manage credit lines with suppliers, manage the banking and treasury functions, and motivate and guide teams in Finance, IT and Logistics.

- The CFO will be responsible for evaluating new store proposals, legal compliances, contracts and negotiations.

- The role will be to lead M&A initiatives, fund raising activities, structuring of finance deals as required and handle an IPO in future.

- Must be entrepreneurial, commercially astute, a resourceful and independent worker with the self confidence to make decisions and find creative solutions and be a good and clear communicator.
