Our client is a European MNC with fledgling operations in India.   The CFO will be responsible for the company's financial and administrative operations relating to:  - Financial reporting and fiscal management  - Administration and internal control management  - Compliance with statutory requirements and Group policies and procedures.  He / She will create the system and maintain the accounting records of the company and ensure the integrity of the accounts for India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan & Bangladesh in accordance with local statutory norms, IFRS and company guidelines.  Key responsibilities :   - Design of the finance and administration function of the India unit in alignment with the Group's guidelines, Indian corporate and international reporting norms. Introduce appropriate programs, processes and systems framework with ease of implementation   - Develop and implement appropriate systems, policies and processes to identify and manage business risk for finance, accounting, billing and auditing; ensure risks are within the guidelines established by the Audit Committee and Controller and local statutory norms  - Ensure accuracy, completeness, integrity and appropriate disclosure of the Company's financial statements and other financial information including bookkeeping, through appropriate processes, policies and procedures.  - Ensure compliance with local and international reporting requirements for the Company and all Group operating divisions  - Guide and participate in the preparation of group financial statements, financial reports, special analyses and information reports for Indian and global management needs   - Ensure all receivables / dues of the company are duly collected / paid through timely action and supervision  - Preserve Company's assets including property, leases, FX contract approval and hedging to reduce minimum exposure.  - Develop annual sales, margin, expense and investment budgets and ensure achievement of financial plans together with evaluation and implementation of strategic initiatives that focus on meeting ongoing/changing business needs.  - Provision of relevant information and support for transfer pricing to the group.  - Contribute to the development of integrated strategic plans including M&A activities, and establish a regular review process   - Serve as an external spokesperson and liaison for the Company managing relations with external stakeholders including banking, financial, investment and legal communities.   - Foster ethical and responsible decision making and execution by management  - Co-ordinate with external service partners to ensure that business needs are met through prescribed delivery standards  - Manage, motivate and coach all team members to ensure achievement of team goals and objectives  - Provide an environment that encourages personal and professional development opportunities for all team members.
