CFO & M&A (Manufacturing)


As the CFO, you would be managing the finance and commercial operations of the organization. You would serve as a business partner to the MD and be a crucial member of devising core long range strategies.

Key Responsibilities.:

- As the CFO, you would report to the MD. Your key responsibilities would be:

- Develop overall organizational finance strategy and development of business plans to ensure financial well-being of the organization.

- Drive the short term and long-term financial planning exercise for the company.

- Establish finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements, managing budgets, forecasts, actuals and monitoring performance to ensure the financial health and integrity of the company.

- Oversee the financial & statutory reporting process to ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.

- Identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; and accumulating capital to fund expansion.

- Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; and developing action plans.

- Effective and efficient legal support for business operations, restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, contracts etc. by providing leadership to legal team and thus ensuring that the organization is free from its legal risks.

- Support Corporate M&A, segment M&A and Strategy teams to build transaction pipelines through engagement with bankers, private equity and other external parties.

- Track and maintain a robust corporate M&A pipeline while supporting cross enterprise view of M&A priorities.

- Work closely with executive leadership on portfolio evaluation to align with the strategic direction of the company, which may include divestitures.

- Manage the M&A approval processes, including Corporate and segment executive leadership and, as appropriate, the Board of Directors.

- Develop in-depth knowledge of the segments and the markets in which they compete.

Qualification And Experience:

1. CA or CWA & MBA (Finance) with 20+Years & currently working as CFO / Head of Finance of a large-scale manufacturing operation, managing a scale of at least 2000 crores and managing large team size of people.

2. Candidates who are currently working / originally from South India will be preferred.

3. Should have provided strategic leadership influencing articulation of Company's or Group's Vision and developing strategies, structure, and systems for achieving them.

4. Strong leadership and organizational skills

5. Excellent knowledge of data analysis, modelling, and forecasting methods

6. Excellent communication and people skills

7. Strong project management skills including an ability to multi-task, prioritize and respond quickly to a rapidly changing environment.

8. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
