Chief Financial Officer - Manufacturing

This position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company. This will involve financial and operational strategy along with SLA/Metrics tied to that strategy and ongoing controls to protect company assets and reporting of accurate financial results.

Duties and responsibilities :

Planning :

1.Formulate company's direction and support tactical initiatives to achieve companies goals.

2.Develop, execute and monitor strategic business plans

3.Develop, execute and monitor financial and tax strategies

4.Manage company's capital and budgeting

Operations :

1.Ensure all financial and accounting processes are well developed and executed in line with the statutory legislation

2.Ensure accurate and timely development of company financial accounts and compliance with legislative laws and audits.

3.Closely monitor the process and data flow between accounting and other systems/departments.

4.Timely and accurate filing of monthly / quarterly return of TDS/other taxes etc.

5.Prior experience of SAP

Risk Management :

1.Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile

2.Lead and manage all legal issues pertaining the company and industry

3.Maintain appropriate insurance coverage

4.Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors

5.Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations

Fund Management :

1.Raise Capital for new ventures and oversee fund management compliance.

2.Set and achieve realistic time-limited fundraising targets, agreed in consultation with key staff and the Board of Directors.

3.Create a sustainable and diverse fundraising portfolio, with funding streams including individuals, major gifts, corporates, community, events, trusts/foundations and other grant-makers, with appropriate priorities.

Qualifications :

The candidate should have a CA/ ICWA/ master's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 15+ years of progressively responsible experience within manufacturing industry
