One of the top law firms is looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer with 12+ years of experience for their Delhi location.

Job Description:

- Developed and maintained financial strategies, policies, procedures, and systems. Reviewed monthly and quarterly financial results to ensure accuracy of information reported to the Partners. Managed cash flow forecasting process in order to optimize liquidity position. Coordinated year-end audit with external auditors and ensured compliance with all regulatory requirements.

- Planned capital expenditure budgets for approval by executive management team. Provided guidance on complex accounting issues related to revenue recognition, foreign currency transactions, derivatives, and investments.

- Negotiated credit facilities with banks and other lending institutions as required. Prepared annual budgeting process in accordance with company's strategic objectives.

- Directed the preparation of consolidated financial statements according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Analyzed current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.

- Evaluated potential merger and acquisitions opportunities from a financial perspective. Built strong relationships with bankers, investors, auditors, lawyers and other stakeholders.

- Ensured timely filing of tax returns; developed strategies to minimize tax liabilities while maximizing profitability. Identified areas for improvement within the finance department; implemented changes accordingly.

- Advice senior management regarding long-term financial planning decisions such as investment or divestitures. Maintained oversight over accounts payable and receivable processes; monitored vendor contracts. Conducted regular reviews of internal controls; identified any weaknesses or gaps in existing processes.

- Managed company-wide budgets, payroll, accounting and other, financial operations.

- Created and implemented best practices to standardize internal processes and procedures.
