Job description:
Role & responsibilities:
- Good understanding on Finance , month end processes , MIS reporting, data analysis , Variance analysis , Budget, Forecast.
- Ability to create financial models (cash flow, DCF, NPV, P/L , CAPM, payback, CBA, business valuation, equity analysis, Investor deck ,forecastand various models)
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that align with the hospital's mission, vision, and strategic objectives
- Lead the development of annual operating budgets, long-range financial plans, and capital expenditure budgets.
- Conduct financial forecasting and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making and mitigate financial risks.
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Analyse financial performance, identify variances, and provide insights to drive operational efficiency and cost optimization.
- Direct revenue cycle operations, including billing, coding, claims processing, and reimbursement functions.
- Implement strategies to maximize revenue capture, reduce denials, and improve collections efficiency.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to optimize charge capture and revenue integrity.
- Coordinate external audits and regulatory reviews, addressing audit findings and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Evaluate capital investment opportunities, including facility expansion, technology upgrades, and equipment purchases.
- Develop business cases and financial projections to support capital investment decisions, balancing return on investment with strategic priorities.
- Identify and assess financial risks, including market volatility, reimbursement changes, and operational disruptions.
- Monitor insurance coverage, liability risks, and contractual obligations to protect the hospital's financial interests and Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize financial exposure
- Proficiency in financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Healthcare Administration, or related field; MBA or CA strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the healthcare industry.
