Chief Financial Officer - Heavy Manufacturing Industry

- An excellent opportunity to head the finance function, carrying 17 - 25 years of experience of working in a heavy manufacturing set up. The objective is to help the organisation double their turnover in the coming 3 - 4 years along with a listing process.

Our client is an Indian promoter driven company that has been in business for over 50 years now. Along with being a well-established brand, this is a 100% compliant and a debt free organisation, they have a turnover of over 2000 crore. Their objective in the next 3 years is to double their turnover and go into a listing process.

Description :

As the CFO of the firm you shall be responsible for both the financial operations as well as the strategy piece. Reporting in to the Managing Director of the firm, you will be responsible for:-

- Maintaining the Company's accounting records in accordance with group policies, regulatory and general accepted accounting principles. The role shall also include supervising the transactional accounting and ensuring that the appropriate processes are followed. Along with this you will also be responsible for Monthly, quarterly & annual financial reporting and taking care of statutory audits

- Taking care of all taxation matters (both direct as well as indirect), working capital management, banking relations, MIS, entire financial planning & analysis cycle (budgeting, planning & forecasting)

- Taking care of all manufacturing locations from a financial stand point and ensuring that costs incurred are rationalized. This also extends to optimizing the entire supply chain & procurement cycle for the firm

- Partnering with the Managing Director & the business teams of the firm to identify and evaluate new investment opportunities to enhance the top line as well as the bottom line of the firm. This will come in the form of new product lines, markets as well as manufacturing facilities

- Identification of Joint Venture as well as Acquisition opportunities

Profile

- A successful candidate is a CA/ MBA/ post graduate carrying 17 - 25 years of experience of working in a heavy manufacturing set up. An experience of working with Indian promoter companies in the last 3-4 years would be essential. Along with having stable stints, you should have a strategic mind, which can evaluate growth opportunities. You should have a strong record of successfully setting strong internal controls systems and processes.
