About our Client : Our Client is a leading Indian Conglomerate with a diversified portfolio. They have successful businesses across the country and are growing at a rapid pace. A CFO position has risen for one of their subsidiaries which would be based in Mumbai.

Job Description: Reporting to the CEO, your responsibilities will include:

- Pioneer Fund Raising activities and look to raise capital for different projects.

- Constant interaction and dealing with regulators ensuring all projects are moving along smoothly.

- Drive initiatives on cost reductions

- Provide proactive finance planning aligned with business plans & goals

- Manage cash flows through strong review mechanisms and internal controls

- Contribute to Corporate Governance and ensure compliances including required tax compliances

- Handling contracts and legal issues when required and contribute on potential M&A opportunities

- Oversee Financial Accounts, consolidate and ensure compliances to accounting standards and statutory audit requirements.

- Efficiently investing the surplus funds in money/ debt market while managing the entire operations of the treasury department.

- Generating relevant MIS on a periodic basis and under taking the statutory obligations for market investments

- Lead a team of 15+ reportees

The Successful Candidate:

- You must be a qualified CA with a minimum of 15+ years post qualification experience.

- You should be from the Power, Energy, Infrastructure or Aviation sector or have had significant exposure to raising funds.

- You should have been in a leadership role for at least the last 8+ years in an industry with a minimum turnover of 2000 Cr.

- You must be based out of Mumbai to be considered for this role.

- You will have excellent communication and people management skills.
