Job Title: Chief Financial Officer Department: Finance Reports to: Chairman and MD Location: Candidate will be based in Delhi and will need to travel essentially to Bhilai & Raipur for 15 days in a month Overview: The person shall be accountable for the accounting, financial &amp; risk management operations of the company; to include monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. This position requires performing effective risk management and planning the organizations financial strategy. Responsibilities: Accounts &amp; Audit: - Oversee the issuance of financial information - Manage financial controls and accounting procedures - Establish internal control processes required to manage and grow the business - Ensure cashflow is appropriate for the organizations operations - Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies - Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments - Monitor banking activities of the company - Report financial results to the board of directors - Oversee the financial operations of foreign transactions - Manage the Statutory, Cost and Internal Audits - Ensure timely compliance related to Income Tax, GST and other applicable Taxes - Oversee the fulfilment of other statutory compliances related to PF, Gratuity, etc. MIS and Budgeting - Preparation of MIS on monthly basis, with reliable current and forecasting reports and present it to the management on a timely basis - Drive the annual budget process and monthly reporting - Cost control and optimisation Taxation: - Develop financial and tax strategies - Manage the capital request and budgeting processes - Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction - Ensure efficient capital expenditures and minimize taxes Corporate Finance and Treasury Management: - Manage financial capital, treasury and forex - Monitor and Forecast the capital, facilities and staff requirements - Communicate capital requirements, implications of business decisions to the management - Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks - Control and evaluate the company's fund-raising plans and capital structure - Conduct meaningful proactive analysis to improve key business focusing on management of working capital - Manage relationship with existing lenders and drive renewal/enhancement process with banks Investor Relations - Drive effective internal and external communication interactions - Ensure timely completion of the required compliances - Maintain relationship with investors - Represent the company with investment bankers and investors Risk Management: - Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile - Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry - Construct and monitor reliable control systems - Maintain appropriate insurance coverage - Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements - Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies - Maintain appropriate insurance coverage - Report risk issues to the board of directors - Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations Legal, Secretarial, Compliance - Monitor all open legal issues involving the company - Minimize legal risks and costs for the company due to errors in legal compliance related issues - Vetting the agreements and essential documents and provide guidance accordingly - Review, provide viewpoints on matters requiring legal intervention - Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements - Ensure periodic and timely conduct of Board Meetings, Committee Meetings - Oversee SEBI and other listing compliances (Post IPO)
