Chief Financial Officer - FinTech

Purpose of the role : 

To oversee the investment of funds held by the company and assess and manage associated risks.

Scope & Key Responsibilities : 

- Drive the company's performance through robust financial planning & reporting

- Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments

- Decide on appropriate investment strategies based on cash &liquidity risks

- Evaluate and manage the organization's fundraising plans (including Debt and Equity) and capital structure

- Ensure appropriate cash flow for the organization's operations and growth

- Develop appropriate tax strategies

- Build a strong finance team with the right capabilities required for future growth

- Set up and oversee the technology roadmap for finance

Functional requirements:

- Have a strong background in handling the financials and financial strategy of a FinTech or Financial Services (such as NBFC, MFI Bank) company.

- Have an exposure to handling the Financials of a Hardware / Manufacturing company (this is optional)

- Have worked in a Corporate for some time

- Have worked in a Start-up helping with Fund Raise (Series B, C, D etc)

- Be adept in dealing with Banks and NBFCs in getting good Credit lines

- Be familiar with Company Secretarial and Corporate Legal aspects; Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies

- Proven experience of having worked in a similar capacity in the earlier organizations

- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

- Qualified CA / MBA Finance with 20 years of experience
