Job Description : - We are looking for a Financial Controller / Chief Financial Officer to supervise all financial matters at our client and ensure we use capital and resources efficiently and productively. Key responsibilities of this role include managing an accounts team and ensuring that account preparation and financial modeling are detailed, correct and timely and that all tax and regulatory requirements are adhered seamlessly. The individual will be based at the headquarters Reporting Structure - Company's headquarters in Mumbai & will report to the Company's co-founders and its Board of Directors to achieve the Company's strategic objectives. Location : India Headquarters Andheri, Mumbai Responsibilities : - Create and manage key financial policies - Maintain detailed cost & budget management - Prioritize & execute tasks by order of importance - Appoint and manage a range of external vendors - Supervise and manage a team of junior accountants - Maintain all accounts and manage audits (internal & statutory) - Ensure that all statutory compliance is met (RBI, FEMA, ROC, State-specific, etc.) - Generate and analyze financial MIS with management and investors on a regular basis - Manage and comply with all taxation requirements in a timely fashion (TDS, GST and Income) - Regularly suggests initiatives to drive profitable revenue growth and manage working capital - Work with senior management to align finance functions with clients and teams across the organization - Financial restructuring and transformation Qualifications & Skills : - 8-15 years of relevant experience - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proven team management and leadership abilities - Supportive team player with - hands-on attitude and approach - Interested in working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment - Ability to understand business processes and workflows and continuously monitor and improve them - Qualified CA, ideally with Big-4 experience or equivalent with relevant certifications - Up-to-date and thorough knowledge of accounting standards and taxation rules Compensation : Competitive base salary + performance-based bonus
