Chief Financial Officer/Finance Head - Pharma

One of the fastest growing pharmaceutical companies in India, the Company is into the marketing and sales of branded nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals and functional foods with an aim to protect against various lifestyle-oriented diseases. Backed by a leading global PE firm, the management team has combined experience of 100 years in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical segments and is currently looking for a CFO/Head of Finance to be based in their Navi Mumbai office. 

Reporting to: MD

Overall Responsibilities :

- Plan, organize and direct the financial management of the Company and activities of the finance department in compliance with all legal and ethical standards

- Supervise the administration of accounting, financial reporting, internal auditing, revenue collections, risk management, and treasury & investment management for the Company

- Ensure accurate and timely recording of the Company's financial transactions as well as ensure the financial integrity of the Company

- Supervise the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements, including revenue projections

- Manage and maintain investor relationships, drive negotiations in investor meetings and raise funding for the Company

- Lead a team of qualified professionals to manage different functions in finance and accounting

- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team

Qualifications/skills :

- The candidate should have a master's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience

- Should have at least 10-12 years of experience for a major company or division/established seed funded company

- Strong fund sourcing capabilities with proven experience

- Should have thorough knowledge of sound financial planning, fund raising, financial controls, corporate governance and compliance

- Should have experience in working in a plant / factory environment

- Should have experience in partnering with an executive team, and have strong written and oral communication skills

- Should have strong leadership skills, with an entrepreneurial can-do attitude

- Position will be based in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.
