Chief Financial Officer - eCommerce - CA

The CFO role is to perform effective risk management and plan the organization's financial strategy. It is a very important and complex role since an organization can only survive if it actively investigates and safeguards its finances. The goal is to protect the company's revenues and profits, create governance and controls to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth, as well as to assist in fund raise efforts of the company. This role would be reporting to the founders.

Detailed Role Description :

- Drive the company's financial planning including P&L, budgeting, working capital, credit management, growth investments, treasury and cash flows.

- Establish and run governance measures to achieve financial goals and plan across departments

- Assist in organizations innovations on vendor payments, customer payments, transaction discounting and other P&L and balance sheet efficiency measures

- Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks

- Control and evaluate the organization's fundraising plans and capital structure

- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations

- Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers etc.)

- Manage vendor relationships

- Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports

- Set up and oversee the company's finance IT system

- Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies

Desired Profile :

- 8-10 years of proven experience as CFO, Controller or other relevant role

- Experience with finances revolving around procurement, inventory, working capital, taxation etc. would be preferred

- In Depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices

- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software

- Ability to strategize and solve problems, understand commercial aspects of the business and develop intelligent solutions within the problem constraints

- Strong leadership and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and people skills

- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers

- CA Essential, Big 4 experience is a plus.
