Chief Financial Officer - Contractual Role

- The CFO (Contractual Basis) of a company is responsible for the planning, managing and running of all the finance activities of a company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations.

This role would be on Contractual Basis for 3 months / 6 months / 9 months / 12 months depending on the projects.

Description

As the CFO (Contractual Basis), your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Strategy :

- Formulation of the company's 5 year road map together with key executives of the organisation.

- This will comprise advice regarding business areas for investment, expansion and divestment.

- It will encompass product strategy, market strategy, customer strategy and investment strategy

Control :

- Ensuring a top quartile of delivery within Financial Accounting and reporting.

- Designing and implementing adequate internal controls to ensure timely closing of books of accounts.

- Assuring a system (ERP) driven approach to accounting with no/minimal exceptions

Budgeting and Forecasting :

- Formulation of the annual budget and delivering a 12 monthly rolling forecast.

- Ensuring that variances are appropriately tracked and that effort is undertaken operationally for the improvement of performance and monitoring of the same

Taxation and Treasury :

- Ensuring that all operational taxation and treasury activities are handled and partnering with consultants to ensure that taxation is leveraged appropriately to ensure appropriate savings for the business

Profile

- As a successful Chief Financial Officer, you are a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 15 years experience and a high degree of maturity.

- You possess a great level of understanding of financial controls and other technical skills in addition to a deep capacity for strategic thought.

- You have worked with reputed multinationals headquartered in India/ abroad and have been extremely stable, looking to deliver long term value to the organisation before contemplating a career change.

- Preferably from a manufacturing and production industry, based out of Mumbai City.
