Chief Financial Officer - Cloud Kitchen Business

Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our rapidly growing cloud kitchen business. This role requires a strategic leader who can provide financial insights to drive business growth, ensure robust financial management, and develop long-term financial plans. The CFO will work closely with the executive team to optimize operational efficiency, scale the business, and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Planning:

- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.

- Analyze market trends and economic conditions to forecast revenue, costs, and profitability.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and board of directors.

Financial Management:

- Oversee all financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.

- Ensure the company's financial operations are in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

- Manage cash flow, investments, and capital allocation to optimize financial performance.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Lead the annual budgeting process, including developing and monitoring budgetary goals.

- Provide detailed financial forecasts and performance analysis to guide business decisions.

Risk Management:

- Identify and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.

- Implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Operational Efficiency:

- Collaborate with operations teams to improve cost efficiency and optimize the supply chain.

- Drive initiatives to reduce costs, improve margins, and enhance profitability across multiple cloud kitchen locations.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

- Work closely with department heads to align financial goals with overall business strategy.

Stakeholder Management:

- Serve as the primary financial liaison with investors, lenders, and other key stakeholders.

- Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and investors.

Mergers and Acquisitions:

- Evaluate potential merger and acquisition opportunities to support the company's growth strategy.

- Lead due diligence efforts and negotiate terms with potential partners.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.

Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the food and beverage or hospitality industry.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the cloud kitchen or food service industry.
