Job Description - As the CFO, you will be responsible for heading Controllership, FP&A, Corporate Finance and Strategy of a Mid-Sized Specialty Chemical MNC based out of Mumbai. You will be managing a team of 40, with 6-8 direct reports. You will be reporting to the Managing Director (India) and APAC CFO (Singapore).

Client Details

Our client is a European MNC in specialty chemicals, with a topline of over INR 1500 crores in India. They are market leaders in certain adhesives and polymers, having applications across B2B as well as B2C industries. They are now looking to hire a strategic individual to act as the Head of Finance for their Indian operations.

Description

As the CFO, you would report to the MD (India) and APAC CFO (Singapore). Your key responsibilities would include:

1. Heading the Finance and Accounting function, covering aspects like business planning, budgeting, reporting, planning, fund management and taxation

2. Heading treasury - Working capital requirements, term loans, weekly receivables, interacting with Indian and Overseas Bankers for lines of credit, bill discounting, bank guarantees, etc.

3. Prepare annual budgets and corporate plans to capture the current and future business opportunities and work closely with the business to identify scope for diversifying the business

4. Tax planning for all legal entities within the Group

5. Statutory compliances, corporate governance and secretarial services - Coordinating with Board

6. Manage FEMA and RBI compliances

7. Oversee HR, legal and IT along with the respective head of departments

Profile

As a successful applicant, you must meet all of the following criteria:

1. Chartered Accountants with 15-25 years of post-qualification experience

2. Experience should be in heavy manufacturing/chemical/ building materials/packaging/ FMCG

3. Should be currently working as CFO / Finance Controller

4. Some global exposure / shared services exposure would be preferred
