CFO
As the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization. We are seeking a candidate who possesses a strong understanding of financial modelling, investments, corporate finance, and legal knowledge. You will play a crucial role in strategic decision-making and driving the financial success of the company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of financial leadership, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic guidance to the executive team.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop and monitor annual budgets and financial targets.
- Prepare regular financial reports and present them to the executive team and board of directors.
Investment Management:
- Evaluate potential investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and assess risks and returns.
- Develop investment strategies aligned with the company's goals and risk tolerance.
- Monitor and analyze investment performance, and provide recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging investment opportunities.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee the preparation of regulatory reports and filings, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and compliance reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- CA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior finance role
- In-depth knowledge of financial modelling, investments, corporate finance, and legal requirements.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in strategic planning, business development, and risk management.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel skills.
