About our Client - Our client is one of the oldest Indian Conglomerate. They have their interests in Manufacturing, Retail, Realty and FMCG. Based out of Mumbai they are market leaders in the services they provide within their vast portfolio. To accelerate their aggressive growth, they are currently looking for a CFO based out of Mumbai.

Job Description - While reporting to the MD your responsibilities would be to:

- Evaluate and assist various business heads with their financial & business planning

- Overseeing all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization

- Devise a model for each business for online tracking

- Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and the group's long-term strategy

- Ensure the company is System & Process driven and standardize SAP / SOP / Processes / Systems

- Improve Operating expenditure management

- Oversee the budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow and coordination of audit activities

- Monitor that all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with appropriate Accounting Principles & standards

- Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate for all audit activities

- Maintain banking relations and fund raising

- Monitor use of funds in capital projects and working capital

- Develop and implement a risk management policy to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management

- Board presentations

The Successful Candidate:

- You should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 20+ years of experience of which the last 8+ years should be at a CFO / Regional Finance Director level. Apart from Finance & Controlling, you should have had rich experience in maintaining banking relations and fund raising.

- You should possess excellent commercial acumen and the ability to understand key business processes as well as be able to have strategic dialogues with various business heads.

- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and you are comfortable in dealing with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
