HyperTalent is headhunting for a Chief Financial Officer. The mandate is for one of our prestigious clients based out of Delhi NCR. The position would report into the business CEO and the group finance head. The CFO would be responsible for a complete subsidiary of a well-established Construction/ Manufacturing group. Chief Financial Officer | Major Job Expectations: - Monitors financial performance by measuring and analysing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances. - Responsible, either directly or by managing staff, for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, helping to drive the company's financial strategy and operations. - Coordinate the development of the annual operating, capital, and program budgets, and reporting against the same. - Ensure cash flow is compatible with company operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organization. Create processes, operating procedure for controls where ever required. Reports financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analysing variances, and developing improvements. - Lead the development and use of best-practice policies, practices, and tools that ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization with strong fiscal management, project management, cross team communications and workflow - Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining relationships with the investment community. - Accomplishes finance human resource strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures; implementing recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counselling, disciplinary, and communication programs; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; and planning and reviewing compensation strategies. - Updates job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. - Develops organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analysing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; and accumulating capital to fund expansion. Chief Financial Officer Qualifications/Skills: - Financial planning and strategy - SAP Expertise - Financial Management Information Systems - Managing profitability - Government Compliance and Quality management - Promotion of process improvement - Forecasting, Budget development &amp; controls Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements - Chartered Accountant preferred - MBA in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent experience. - Minimum 10 years experience in accounting and financial management practices. - Experience in a senior management position. - Proficiency with accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheets. - Established financial reporting technical skills.
