Including variable Qualification : CA Experience : 20 to 23 years Reporting to : CFO Age : 45 to 50 Job Description : Role and Responsibilities : - The Deputy CFO will assist the CFO in managing and controlling the organization's financial processes,making the necessary changes to upgrade and improve process, policies, or procedures, and develop the team. - Supervise financial record-keeping and documentation management systems to safeguard the security and integrity of sensitive financial information and data. - Review financial reports, identifying and recommending appropriate corrective actions. - Ensure the financial infrastructure is stable and supports the demands of future growth and Provide recommendations to the improvement of accounting controls, practices, and procedures. - Prepare investment materials with a model and financial statements. - Suggest processes, reporting and documentation improvements to streamline work within the Accounting Department. - Deliver financial reports including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows, A/P aging, A/R aging, Inventory, Payroll and Productivity reports directly to the CFO. - Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure that all A/P invoicing and A/R billing are accurate and timely. - Oversee the preparation and evaluation of budgets, forecasts, performance KPI's, and other financial operating reports. - Define a strategy to attract investment, considering offerings and investment options yielding good returns. - Organize and hold meetings with investors, attract advisers, collect investment applications. - Develop and automate the financial reporting systems with the changing needs. - Providing a second in charge function to the CFO, deputizing as required. - Taking a financial lead in significant cross organisational business cases and long-term planning. - Ensuring all significant financial and business papers/reports coming out of the office of the CFO meet the highest quality standards - Ensures appropriate Internal Controls are maintained within the organization and its support companies. - Taking the lead on all internal and external audit recommendations and relationships. - Representative of the office of CFO on all significant long-term planning and business transformation initiatives as directed. - Manage key relationships and interfaces with SEBI and other regulatory and government authorities. - Responsible for managing the Treasury co-ordination and reporting of revenue streams to the organisation. - Responsible for the management of the organization's insurance. Preferred Skills : - Experience in Capital Markets. - Thorough Knowledge of Direct and Indirect Taxation. - A confident, natural leader and problem solver with demonstrated critical thinking and collaboration skills. - Able to lead and guide a finance team and drive budget and financial management strategy. - Advanced comprehensive finance skills and solid business acumen. - Extensive background in accounting, banking, or finance. - Strategic Leadership: Identifies a desired future state, aligns people in a common direction, establishes visible goals and reinforces behaviour through systems and rewards. Through leadership and effective management practices ensure day to day operations, within your responsibility, are carried out in a manner that enables the BSE to meet its obligations.
