Chief Financial Officer - BFS/IT (17-22 yrs)
CFO-Platform
Leadership:
- The incumbent will be part of the organization's leadership team responsible for achievement of financial targets and results for organization.
- S/He will serve as a strategic partner and financial advisor to the Executive Chairman, CEO, and the Board, and other members of the management team to help shape the overall direction for the company.
- Support automation/digitization efforts/initiatives focused on operational efficiency, with a focus on ROIC (Return on Invested Capital).
Accounting & Financial Controls:
- Direct the preparation of all financial reports and scorecards.
- Responsible for all the financial and management reporting functions; ensure timely and quality excellence in reporting, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning, adherence to accounting policies, reporting, cash management, taxation, and financial systems.
- Institute and drive a program of continued improvement to accounting process and controls. This includes shortening the close cycle as well as creating the capability for managers to understand in the middle of the month how costs are trending.
- Ensure the deployment and maintenance of all financial controls, systems and processes, to ensure effective tracking of financial performance and reporting thereby protecting the company and shareholder value.
- Provide guidance and direction on financial policies and procedures and identifying gaps in practices. Recommend changes to the existing processes in an appropriate and timely manner.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Prepare budgets and forecasts and develop appropriate analytical tools to help proactively drive business results.
- Work in conjunction with the management team to understand customer profitability, drive out cost and waste, improve productivity, and enhance utilization
- Develop the necessary management tools to measure and monitor performance to facilitate both early warning and planning and forecasting corrective action data to the management team.
- Contribute to the profitability of the organization through effective financial planning by analyzing historical and current performance, preparing forecasts/budgets and advising management on variances.
- Develop predictive analytics to help the executive leadership and business leaders manage the business more effectively in a dynamic environment.
Tax, Risk Management & Compliance:
- Oversee and maintain the highest financial reporting and tax standards and turnaround times.
- Oversee core finance functions (e.g., contract approval, contract pricing, tax matters, cash management, financial and tax reporting, compensation, capital expenditure).
- Manage liquidity. Optimize the handling of all external regulatory & compliance relationships, ensuring 100% covenant compliance and preparing all required reporting.
