Our Client a leading bank requires CFO. Candidates from BFSI background preferred

Job Role:

Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Checking & assessing the value drivers of business and developing analytics around key measurements to facilitate business decision-making

- Acquiring inputs from Finance Dept., analyzing financial results for identifying weaknesses and suggesting remedial measures to Business Unit Heads

- Leading finance & accounts functions involving determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems and framing policies & procedures to facilitate process control

Operations:

- Looking after financial systems through proper budgeting to ensure that the controls are adequate

- Administering treasury functions including optimum utilization of surplus funds; controlling the management of funds & securities to ensure pay-in / out of funds in time without failure

- Taking suitable measures to ensure optimum utilization of available funds for accomplishment of company objectives

Budgeting / Costing:

- Formulating budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions

- Monitoring cash flow by taking adequate measures for optimum utilization of available funds; developing effective framework on the basis of tax assessment for acceptable levels of residual risk

Auditing & Taxation:

- Finalizing various accounts in coordination with internal & statutory auditors in compliance to tax laws and govt. rules & regulations

- Computing & arranging the timely deposit of taxes (Indirect, Professional, Direct & Indirect) and filing returns as per standard norms

Statutory Reporting:

- Formulating MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on financial performance viz. analysis of profit, cost, fund management & overheads

- Delivering presentation before senior management on budgeting & financial aspect of the division
