Chief Financial Officer - B2B Business

- A leading B2B soonicorn venture backed by leading global and domestic VCs is looking to hire a strategic CFO.

- The successful candidate will work closely with the founders and will be responsible for all strategic finance matters including fund raising, domestic and overseas acquisitions, business finance/FP&A as well as overseeing the existing controllership function

- The opportunity is made particularly compelling by the fact the company is a leader in its space, and has investor approved and funded plans for growing overseas.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Providing vision and leadership for all aspects of the finance function and formulating the company's overall financial strategy

- Leading fundraising efforts and managing relationships with investors

- Designing and executing M&A strategy - both domestic and global

- Overseeing financial models, plans, forecasts, budgets, etc

- Overseeing controllership function - eg the preparation of financial statements for management, investors and other stakeholders.

- Ensuring that all relevant tax, fiduciary and regulatory obligations are being complied with.

- Managing the financial health of the company - ensuring that various critical financial metrics are being accurately calculated and suitably reported. Including maintaining MIS, KPIs etc.

- Identifying and implement best practices to make the Company, financial processes and internal controls more efficient and effective.

- Managing and build the Finance department

The Ideal Candidate will:

- Have 12+ years of experience including in depth experience in strategic activities like fund raising, M&A and investor relations

- Have the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Have a Master's Degree in Finance / Professional Finance Qualification / CA.

- Experience in startups, PE or VC firms and investment banks will be an advantage
