Chief - Finance & Accounts

One of our reputed client is looking for Chief of Finance and Accounts. The client is one of the prestigious Indian group.

This profile is second-in-line to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities :

- Overall supervision of finalisation of accounts, budgets, taxation, audit & internal control.

- Reviewing documentation and ensuring company is not at risk.

- Review legal documentation for short term / long term debt.

- Proactive assistance to management in decision making process for new projects.

- Review of quarterly /annual financial statements and facilitate presentation to Audit Committee and the Board.

- Develop financial business plans and forecasts.

- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with reference to the Finance & Accounts functions

- Analyzing periodic financial statements, Cash Flow, Fund Flow, MIS reports and budgets.

- Monitoring financial accounting and control systems.

- Ensuring adherence to Income Tax, VAT, Service Tax and other applicable laws.

- Ensuring efficient tax planning to take correct input credits for VAT & Service Tax.

- Review of advance tax and annual income tax.

- Leadership in continuous evaluation of short and long term strategic financial objectives.

Person profile :

- A CA (not more than 2 attempts) with 15+ years of relevant experience. Management qualification preferred.

- Candidate should have previously handled an all-round Finance, Accounts and Taxation profile

- Excellent communication skills

- Self motivated individual with good leadership skills

- Excellent knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles

- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.

- SAP knowledge preferred.
