Looking for CEO - Warehouse Operations for a leading Industrial Group having interests in Carbon, Steel and Industrial Warehousing & Logistics. Turnover of the SBU is Rs 30 Cr. Job Purpose: The primary function of this position is to lead the warehousing &amp; logistics business and oversee the finance function of the Company Warehousing and Logistics Business in the role of Chief Finance Officer (CFO) in accordance with Organisation's policies and prevailing applicable laws. Headquartered in Kolkata and to achieve the organizational vision, mission and objectives. The incumbent would be accountable for Business Growth, Infrastructure, People, Processes, Finance &amp; customer service. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: - To manage current warehousing operations and ability to scale up. Address fulfilment requirements for a wide range of consumer industries including e-commerce companies. - Manage productivity with the best of human relations climate &amp; aiming for higher productivity standards. - Overall management of Warehousing &amp; Logistics business. Implement world class processes in Warehousing Operations. - Should have customer service orientation - Ability to optimize Capex in warehousing facilities. - Prepare Quarterly and Annual Accounts in accordance with applicable Accounting Standards. - Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives - Oversee the issuance of financial information and report financial results to the board of directors. - Develop financial and tax strategies, Manage the capital request and budgeting processes. - Interact with Internal and External auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations. - Monitor cash balances, cash forecasts and invest funds. Arrange for debt/equity financing. - Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction. - Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team - Formulation and adherence of internal financial controls of the Company. - Oversee the company's transaction processing systems. - Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile - Construct and monitor reliable control systems. - Maintain appropriate insurance coverage. - Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. - Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies. Reporting Relationships: Reports to the Board. Key Competencies: - Good understanding of Industrial Warehousing &amp; Logistics Business including applicable laws, rules &amp; regulations. - Experience and expertise in handling of Industrial Warehouse as Operations Head. - Adept at managing people and liaison with authorities. Profile: MBA/Equivalent with hands-on experience of handling business responsibility in a reputed Warehousing and Logistics group; Post Graduation in Commerce with CA (desirable) Preferably 42-50 years of age.
