SUMMARY  Provide leadership to position the company at the forefront of the industry. Develop and execute a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives. To oversee Business Development and operations functions in order to achieve a high revenue, profitability and growth as an organization.   DIRECT REPORTEES   Will include Chief Financial Officer and Business Head of Freight forwarding, Warehousing/Contract Logistics and Supply Logistics Functions of Clarion-UAE  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY  - Develop a strategic plan to achieve a dual objective : Sustain existing business operation and promote new business growth in UAE.  - Drive topline & bottom line growth of entire integrated logistics business segment within UAE (Air, and Ocean)   - Actively engage in setting up department business plan & Achievement of Sales Target for the country  - Identify new areas of business growth specifically end to end logistics handling for large corporates.  - Evaluate Company's current organization structure and implement changes in order to achieve maximum productivity.  - Evaluate performance of executives for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and their contributions in attaining objectives  - Evaluate current business operation procedures and implement changes to streamline execution of organization tasks.  - In-depth monitoring performance of company with help of financial statements and Management reports and ensure achievement of budgets.  - Promote the company to local, regional, national, and international trade networks  - Maintaining good business relationship with Clients and ensure periodic visits to assess their satisfaction and address their concerns.  - Identify acquisition and merger opportunities for inorganic business growth.   - Statutory & Legal Compliance pertaining to business  COMPETENCIES   Preferred Education Background : Master of Business Administration with 10+ years of experience in Logistics/ Freight forwarding industry.  At least 5+ years of experience in Middle East/GCC markets preferably at Senior Sales/Business Head levels.  Ability to communicate and influence successfully with varied personalities, cultures and background experience.  Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.  In depth understanding of Financial, Operational and Commercial aspects of business  Knowledge of public relations principles and practices  Work requires willingness to travel with flexible schedule.
