Overall Role Objective:  (1) To develop and execute strategy for Projects and ensure overall execution and delivery  (2) To be responsible for P & L for the projects  Mandatory requirement:  Total experience of 18-22 years with at least 5+ years as a Profit Center Head with a large scale Construction House, Telecom, etc.  Qualifications:  - Bachelor's degree in any field/ Civil Engineering + MBA is highly desirable  Key Accountabilities:  (1) Maximise Returns from Sales   - Lead marketing efforts  - Develop robust pricing mechanisms for maximising revenues and ensuring sufficient cash flows & achieve price premium in it's segment  (2) Control Costs and maximise profitability  - Develop and execute business strategy for the unit  - Manage Cash Flow for funding of operations  - Identify and implement initiatives for cost control and cost reduction  (3) Enhance Brand Image and Value Proposition to Customers and Partners  - Enhance Customer Satisfaction scores through targeted initiatives  - Strengthen Project brand through marketing initiatives  - Establish and manage Customer complaints through resolution mechanism  (4) Meet Timelines promised to Customers - Complete projects as per schedule  (5) Drive Project Execution Excellence  - Implement leading practices from Industry leaders in Project Planning  - Undertake Continuous Improvement initiatives  - Conduct Project risk review and deploy risk mitigation initiatives to ensure minimal unscheduled deviation  (6) Improve efficiency of business operations  - Review key management processes (performance management, annual planning, etc.) and evaluate their effectiveness  - Resolve management escalations within the business and in cross-functional coordination  - Manage relationships, channel partners and large contractors  (7) Review and monitor Quality norms  - Inculcate a culture of Quality among personnel at all project sites  - Ensure mitigation of issues reported by the Quality Team  (8) Review and monitor Safety norms  - Create a safety culture among all employees and contract staff  - Ensure that all safety procedures are followed at the workplace  - Ensure external safety audit  (9) Meet Corporate Governance and statutory norms  - Develop systems for compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry norms  - Instill appropriate checks and balances in the organisational processes  - Identify legal risks and take mitigation action  (10) Employee Development  - Develop Team capabilities on execution, Project management through People Development initiatives  - Initiate the process of knowledge sharing through knowledge management initiatives  - Develop organisational capabilities through people development initiatives
