Client is a Listed Public Limited Company with two verticals viz., Security Systems and Green Energy division. The Green Energy division makes floating solar systems and energy storage systems. The Client is committed to expanding the division in the Renewable Energy Sector

Job Description:

The CEO of the Energy Storage division will spearhead our efforts within the solar energy sector, overseeing all operations, strategies, and business activities to ensure they align with our vision of leading the renewable energy transition. The successful candidate will be an experienced, visionary leader with a track record of driving growth, innovation, and sustainability in the solar or broader renewable energy storage sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's mission and financial objectives within the Energy storage division.

- Oversee R&D initiatives to drive technological advancements and competitive advantage in the Energy storage sector

- Cultivate strong relationships with industry partners, stakeholders, and governmental bodies to promote the energy storage sector and foster business opportunities

- Manage the Energy storage division's P&L, ensuring financial health and sustainable growth.

- Lead and inspire the team to achieve excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and dedication to our renewable energy goals.

- Represent the company at conferences, public meetings, and media engagements, acting as a compelling advocate for renewable energy

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the renewable energy or solar sector

- Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of global solar market trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth and innovation.

- A solid track record of delivering growth, operational efficiency, and innovation.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field. Additional qualifications in renewable energy or sustainability are highly desirable.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
