CEO - Non Profit Organization (one of the largest in India)

- We have been retained by a pre-eminent Not for Profit organization, one of the largest in India, which has been working PAN India for more than three decades and doing pioneering work in underprivileged & rural areas. 

- The organization is led and managed by a noteworthy board of directors, an experienced senior team and 500 plus staff members who work passionately for upliftment of poor and marginalized communities. 

- The organization has demonstrated high impact and change (across indicators) in the lives of the disadvantaged. The organization has more than 35 Projects spanning across Health, Education, Livelihoods and Disaster Response sectors. At present, there is an enormous need for the organization to step-up and materialize its high potential of making an even more significant difference in the lives of the poor and marginalized, by helping to turn India's macro-economic growth to a more "Equitable, Socially-oriented growth

- In the light of making an impactful influence, the organization is looking to strengthen the leadership team and hire a Chief Executive Officer (India). 

- The CEO will be responsible for driving the results of the organization and making it a significant player in the development domain. S/He will build on the credibility that the organization has and strengthen its reputation considerably.

- The CEO is expected to have social sector business acumen, the gravitas and stature to be a be a role model for what the organization stands for, and to position it among key stakeholders. 

- The CEO will engage with high level government officials to position the organization as a credible partner for addressing underlying causes of poverty & marginalization.

- There will also be close association with the organization's other international members to pursue and manage programming and businesses of mutual interest. The CEO will play a key role in building the organization's brand within India and the worldwide diaspora.

- We are looking for an outstanding leader with 18-25 years of experience in either corporate or non-profit sector or both. S/He must have proven track record of successfully leading a sizable entity, tackled complexities, created operational excellence, managed multiple stakeholders (in this context donors, partners and Government) and nurtured a high performing team. 

- The incumbent should come with very strong strategic thinking and decision making skills along with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple hierarchies internally and externally. 

- S/He should be passionate about working for a social cause.

Location for the role is Delhi NCR, India with travel required across India and international locations.
