- Strategy Development: Translating the Founders vision and mission into action by designing and executing programs in the areas of health, education, governance and civic issues, livelihood, art and culture. Collaborating with international universities, academic institutions in India and civil society organizations to implement the programs.

- Grants Management: To work at the highest level with Founders and trustees, enhancing the foundation's long-range planning, strategy implementation and communications efforts.

- Liaison and Networking: Building strategic networks and linkages with stakeholders in the development sector, government, donor agencies and corporates. Identifying allies and sympathizers, diagnosing the political landscape, and building alliances with diverse stakeholders and interest groups.

- Impact focused measurement and evaluation: Designing evaluation systems and conducting evaluations to improve decision making, organizational learning, and performance.

- Overseeing Accounts and Finance: Budget preparation for board meetings, vetting of grant documentation, compliance of statutory audit processes, compliance of the provisions and accountable standards of the Companies Act, 2013, annual tax filings, TDS compliance and Tax representation and compliance of FCRA 2010.

- Institutional Collaboration: Forging alliances and collaborations with academic institutions, universities and government on priority issues for the Foundation.

- Scholarships and Fellowships: Oversee the overall management of the scholarship program, one of the country's most well known Education Scholarship programs, spread across numerous universities across the world.

- Knowledge Management: Contributing to the knowledge management process within the organization and with other partners through constantly identifying potential research areas, creation of knowledge products and strategizing the dissemination process.

- Program Management: Providing leadership and direction for programs across thematic areas- health, education, livelihood, governance and youth development; overseeing the financial administration of grants.

- Overseeing Grants management staff: Directing all components of grants processing, including structure of grants, regulatory compliance, and sharing of grants information with program, finance, communications and technology staff. Training foundation staff in compliance, internal processes and technology for efficient use of foundation resources.

- Budget Analysis: Anchoring the budget development process and performing budget analysis for presentation to the board.

- Designing and implementing developmental, formative and summative evaluations, as well as strategic reviews and retrospectives; using a range of approaches and data collection methods with a focus on communicating results in meaningful and actionable ways. Developing shared measurement systems as part of a collective impact initiative.

- Organization of International Conferences and Seminars: Organize national conferences, roundtables, seminars on diverse issues pertaining to community health and education.

- Team Management: Building and leading a team of highly experienced and seasoned professionals in the Social Development sector, to help in the expansion and growth of the Foundation.

3) Relationship builder: The individual should be able to manage the team, providing mentorship and guidance, while leaving room for individual entrepreneurial energy. S/he should be able to build capacity and skills for growth, as well as engage a diverse set of stakeholders - the Board, donors, implementation partners and the government.

Qualification and Experience:

The CEO should be a person who signs up to build a best-in-class public institution - someone who can propel the organization to a new level of reach and relevance, while retaining the strength of its values and culture.
