About Grow-Trees

Grow-Trees.com is a mission-driven social enterprise that allows individuals and companies to plant trees on public lands with a few clicks to greet or honor friends, employees or customers for special occasions with an e-TreeCertificate- with a logo and personalized message. It has so far planted over 17.3 million trees creating over 1.4+ million workdays of jobs in the nursery and planting activities alone. These trees will absorb over 340 million kilograms of carbon every year.

Grow-Trees has additionally recently entered into a contract with a large global company for planting in India 36 million trees over 3 years through its Singapore subsidiary; it has one project overseas; has been profitable for each of the twelve completed years of its operations and has surplus cash.

Responsibilities

- Customer satisfaction and profit and loss responsibility

- Growth of the number of trees planted, revenue, and profits

- Grow internationally

- Procure global and domestic corporate and individual customers through Grow-Trees' revenue model of Greet with Trees, Offset with Trees

- Lead and inspire a team and manage external planting partners

- Explore funding opportunities and strategic partnerships

- Maintain Grow-Trees' strong ethical and transparency standards as well as the strong social and environmental impact of the organization

- Explore opportunities for business diversification

The ideal candidate:

- Must possess strong commercial acumen and team leadership skills

- Must be a strong communicator who is able to inspire corporate executives as well as planting partners in the field

- Should be experienced in top management responsibilities and own a substantial P&L

- Must have a minimum experience of 10 years with atleast 2-3 years at the CXO level

- Sould have start-up experience with a strong entrepreneurial mindset
