Company: A widely held public company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock exchange in India specializing in Geographical Information System (GIS) and Geospatial Engineering domain.  Location: Mumbai  Experience:  - 20 yrs.+ with techno-marketing experience in GIS + CAD / CAM / CAE  - Offshoring business experience  - Candidate should be responsible for spearheading the business generated at current company  - Should be able to handle Business Development in EDS sector as well as Business  - Development in GIS sector; somebody who can handle EDS space and is eager to start working in GIS space  Key Responsibilities  - Determine the overall strategy and direction of the growth of the business  - Subject to Board approval, implement and monitor the business strategy and vision, in conjunction with the management team  - Take overall responsibility so that all businesses perform as effectively as possible keeping in mind the original objectives of the company, and stakeholder perspectives  - Derive detailed plans for the GIS services, CAD, CAM and CAE business as a whole and separately for each of the product lines under it keeping in mind the competitor framework and company's own strengths  - Hire and develop a team of professionals to drive existing business & New Business  - Act as the custodian of the brand and what it stands for and who it wishes to serve. Actively monitor company performance relative to plans, forecast company results and set targets for short and long term. The incumbent needs to be deeply involved in implementation and execution of the business plan in India and Overseas- Offshoring  - Should be adept skilled and networked to raise equity and debt as and when required optimize and leverage in capacity building and services business expertise and other areas as relevant from time to time  - Periodically review the product & segment focus and benchmark performance against the competition. Ensure that all the internal procedures conform to all aspects of the regulations  - Ensures that employees and key contacts across the company are kept fully abreast of initiatives, issues, and events as relevant to expectation and scaling up  - Motivates and empowers employees to build and maintain effective alignment with other areas and units of the company  - Exhibits a strong grasp of the economic, industry and competitive landscape and scans the environment constantly for trends & opportunities.  - Create and nurture team  - Create GTM strategies  - Links internal strategies to external trends and developments consistently.  - Defines goals & establishes priorities with clear responsibilities to ensure results; manages projects, activities, resources effectively  - Translates corporate business goals into well-defined performance plans for the organization  - Should be a leader who shares passion for the services and offshoring in GIS, CAD, CAM & CAE in developed countries  - Established track record of delivering growth and other performance parameters
