Candidate Profile:

1. 20+ years of experience in FMCG, preferably Foods in a leadership position.

2. Experience of working in South India Market & strong experience into B2C.

3. Experience in leading leadership teams and high-performance teams.

4. Proven track record of delivering on strategy and launching successful new categories and businesses.

5. Exposure to Managing Board level interactions.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Manage the P&L of the business

2. Develop sales and marketing strategies for the BU and ensure effective implementation for achieving strategic objectives.

3. Review brand portfolio, product strategies and positioning to anticipate and plan for marketing mix that enhances profitability.

4. Ensure smooth business delivery through effective alignment across Sales and Supply Chain

5. Anticipate and lead review of categories and product life cycle and profitability.

6. Create awareness and hunger for market share growth within the organization. Determine and execute marketing research objectives and integrate research findings with strategy.

7. Supervise planning and execution of advertising and promotion campaigns with appropriate cost effective media mix.

8. Monitor socio economic and demographic trends and integrate with strategy.

9. Ensure effective NPD launches as per agreed upon timelines and GTM strategy.

10. Oversee execution of Digital Marketing and PR strategy for BU.

11. Grow sales volumes and market share. To this end ensure development of trade marketing inputs.

12. Build and sustain positive and impacting relationships with all external agencies to fulfil brand strategy objectives.

13. Coach, train and develop direct reports for a robust succession pipeline; collaborate with HR for effective development interventions and plans for the team.

14. Manage external environment

15. Representing Organization at various Industry/Press Meets.

16. Identifying platforms and partnerships for raising visibility of the organization by managing relationships with external agencies/media and disseminating relevant stories and information.
