Chief Executive Officer - FMCG

This is regarding an opening for the position of a CEO for Luanda, Angola-AFRICA location with a multi business conglomerate.

Responsibilities:

1. Primary responsibilities include supervising the company's daily business operations, leading key initiatives, and implementing company-wide strategies (Growth & Expansion).

2. Working with senior management and the board of directors to gauge the company's performance and plan for the future.

3. Responsibilities include full P & L accountability & Responsible for Planning the Business Strategy.

4. Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the CFO and other key executive team members.

5. Partner with the CFO to achieve favorable financial results with respect to sales, profitability, cash flow, mergers and acquisitions, systems, reporting and controls.

6. Reviewing various departments, Procurement, Supply Chain, logistics, marketing efforts and outputs & Optimizing business workflows for greater productivity.

7. Assist executive team members in creating, growing and building a world class, industry leading organization.

8. Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes (Customer Satisfaction).

9. Work closely with senior management to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company.

10. Forge strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, banks, investors and all other professional business relationships.

11. Foster a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines.

12. Process Driven Organization, Human Capital Transformation & Compliances.

Requirements:

1. At least 15 years of experience in hypermarket and supermarket and grocery segment and industry.

2. Qualified MBA mandatory.

3. International /African market experience mandatory at a global level.

4. Excellent forecasting and strategy formulation skills required.

5.African Experience a big plus.

6.Excellent Leadership and Managerial competencies relevant to Business Strategy, Problem Solving & Decision Making.
