Our client is a Listed Public Limited Company with two verticals viz., Security Systems and Green Energy division. The Green energy division makes floating solar systems and energy storage systems. They are committed to expand the division in the Renewable Energy Sector

Job Description:

The CEO of the Energy Storage division will spearhead their efforts within the solar energy sector, overseeing all operations, strategies and business activities to ensure they align with our vision of leading the renewable energy transition. The successful candidate will be an experienced, visionary leader with a track record of driving growth, innovation, and sustainability with the solar or broader renewable energy storage sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's mission and financial objectives within the Energy storage division.

- Oversee R&D initiatives to drive technological advancements and competitive advantage in Energy storage sector

- Cultivate strong relationships with industry partners, stakeholders and governmental bodies to promote energy storage sector and foster business opportunities

- Manage the Energy storage division's P&L, ensuring financial health and sustainable growth.

- Lead and inspire the team to achieve excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and dedication to our renewable energy goals.

- Represent the company at conferences, public meetings and media engagements, acting as a compelling advocate for renewable energy.

Qualifications:

- A solid track record of delivering growth, operational efficiency and innovation.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field. Additional qualifications in renewable energy or sustainability are highly desirable.

- Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills

Skills and Attributes:

- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the renewable energy or solar sector

- Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of global solar market trends, challenges and opportunities for growth and innovation

- Visionary leadership with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability

- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team towards achieving ambitious goals.

- Strong financial literacy and experience in managing large budgets and investments

- High resilience, able to navigate complexities and uncertainties within the dynamic energy storage market.
