There are 2 primary drivers of the business : (1) Business Development (2) Operations Delivery - Business Development deals with winning contracts from the state / central government and the private sectors. 1. Education Services 2. Skill Development / Vocational Services 3. Consulting Services Also the role oversees the organization's sales / Business / Revenue Generation function. Develops Execution Strategies in collaboration with central strategy units&nbsp; - Looks for growth opportunities across business lines with schools as the leading revenue driver&nbsp; - Manages budgets and self evaluates sales performance, establishes government relations, create &amp; deliver presentations &amp; business pitches to private / government bodies&nbsp; - Manages key large relationships that have the base under the territory of the Regional Manager but presence nationally. - Managing complete P&amp;L for B2I, B2B, B2G business across Spectrum (Govt/non-Govt, International) with a strong focus on Education sector. - Develop &amp; Execute an effective Strategy to acquire Govt / Semi Govt / Municipality / Public Sector funded schools - This includes in-depth understanding of local market to district block levels - Build strong government relationships (especially senior bureaucrats &amp; ministry officials) and engagement strategies. - Should have the understanding of the central / local government machinery, the bureaucracy, the procedures &amp; policies, authority matrices etc - To study the market potential of the area and advance plan to execute to achieve planned targets. - Ensure timely bidding, tenders are placed for govt. funded projects. - Build a channel of representatives / agencies who constantly liaise with the govt. agencies to acquire business and follow up to closure. - Be on the lookout for other govt. initiated projects (non education) and ensure Lead Generation / Referral to the concerned Subject Matter Expert - Enable repeat business / referrals / overall territory reputation
