Chief Executive Officer - Education Industry

We have been retained by a client a market leader in it's own niche in the Education Space. The client has had years of rapid growth and has now set an ambitious plan to achieve a 3x growth in the next 3-5 years.

To meet it's goals, the client looking for a dynamic resource to join their Senior Management Team as CEO (Chief Executive Officer). The incumbent would be an essential link between the MD and the Organization. The position should ensure Business continuity and seamless operations.

The CEO would be responsible for:

- Working in partnership with Senior Management to accomplish the Company's Vision & Mission for 2023 and establish policies that promote company's growth.

- Responsible for P&L and EBITDA.

- Sales Targets and Growth

- People Management

- Will be responsible to bring in Operational efficiency through process redesign and benchmarking.

- Customer satisfaction

- Coordination

- Competition Benchmarking

- Resource Management

- Planning and directing all aspects of operations, policies and initiatives.

- Measuring effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally and find ways to improve processes.

- Provide analytical support to internal management team including development of internal management reporting capabilities.

- Cultivate the values of Vital within the organization and motivates staff to meet or surpass organizational goals.

- Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities; set objectives; establish priorities; and monitor and evaluate results.

- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.

- Ensure Statutory compliances are met

- Work in close coordination with Sales & Marketing team to achieve the Sales goals.

- Responsible for Employee motivation, engagement and development

- Oversee daily operations in coordination with IT, Marketing, HR, Sales etc.

- Presents new ideas & strategies to the Management in-order to develop and implement growth strategies.

- Participates in expansion activities and alliances etc. to identify new revenue streams

- Should be willing and open to travelling 7 days a month.

- Experience in the digital domain will be a huge plus.

Qualifications and Experience Required

MBA with proven experience in the similar role in a promoter led company, which has a significant retail presence, in a high growth environment.

Team Size/ Reporting.

There will be 6-7 direct reportees and an overall team of 500 people spread across India.

The role reports to the MD.
