Chief Executive Officer - Digital - Media House - IIM/IIT

One of our Clients which is a very large media house is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to be based out its Corporate office .

- The CEO shall be responsible for leading the development and execution of the Company's long term strategy with a view to creating shareholder value.

- The CEO shall be responsible to manage the P&L of the company, all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing the Company's long and short term plans.

- The ideal candidate will have experience bringing together Business in order to create an incredible and continually growing product experience.

Key Responsibility Areas :

- Understand and synthesize customer needs from market research, current analytic, and competitive insights. You will be using data - both qualitative and quantitative - to understand how our customers/users experience our content and shopping experience.

- The ideal candidate must have great vision that delights users and inspires the development team.

- Build and lead a strong management team across technology, sales, marketing, operations, legal, finance and human resources

- Evaluate new projects and new businesses across the spectrum of web content, commerce and mobile.

- Develop a vision and strategic plan to guide the Web business.

- Represent the organization at community activities to enhance the organization's community profile

- Conduct official correspondence as appropriate in coordination with the Group COO. Define the team's business strategy, product strategy, operation plan and detailed roadmap.

- Execute the grand vision and take the venture to success .Coordinate, lead and motivate between multi-functional team.

- Candidate should have a strong experience in leading a digital business.

- To own and manage the P&L of the business unit.

- Research funding sources, oversee the development of fund raising plans and write funding proposals to increase the funds of the organization in co-ordination with the Group COO.

- Approve expenditures within the authority matrix.

- Ensure that sound bookkeeping and accounting procedures are followed.

- Administer the funds of the organization according to the approved budget and monitor the monthly cash flow of the organization.

- Provide the Group COO with comprehensive, regular reports on the revenues and expenditure of the organization

- Ensure that the organization complies with all statutory compliance's.

- Maximizing shareholders & stakeholder value

- Strong networking, influencing and negotiating skills - interacts and communicates equally well at all levels.

- Demonstrated experience in client facing relationship management, depth of vertical line of business knowledge and history of results making opportunistic introductions based on strategic investment themes within a high volume environment with competing priorities.

- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and be creative in developing alternative solutions in a fast-paced, financially dynamic environment.

- Prioritize and drive multiple projects while remaining proactive and flexible in style.

- Work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships with clients and colleagues
